Founded in 1996, Bosphorus Cymbals was established by three master Turkish cymbal makers:

These craftsmen began learning the art of cymbal making at a young age under legendary Turkish masters responsible for producing some of the most admired cymbals of the 1960s and 1970s. After spending over sixteen years perfecting their craft, they decided to create their own company while preserving the centuries-old traditions of Turkish cymbal making.
