Meet TOUCHBEAT : The New Electronic Drum Kits Coming to Musical Buddies
If you've been waiting for an electronic drum kit that feels less like a compromise and more like an instrument, we've got news. TOUCHBEAT and TOUCHBEAT Plus — a brand-new line of electronic drum kits — are landing soon at Musical Buddies, and we're genuinely excited about these two.
Designed with one simple idea in mind — the less you have to think about the kit, the more you can focus on playing — TOUCHBEAT is built around a fast, intuitive touchscreen workflow, genuinely stable hardware, and pads that respond the way you'd expect a real kit to. Whether you're a beginner setting up your first practice space, a gigging drummer who needs something quiet enough for late-night sessions, or a studio player who wants flexible, editable sounds, there's a TOUCHBEAT for you.
Let's break down both models.
TOUCHBEAT: The All-Rounder
The standard TOUCHBEAT Electronic Drum Kit is an 8-piece setup that covers everything you need to learn, rehearse, record, and perform, without unnecessary extras getting in the way.
Key specs:
- Kit Configuration: 8-piece
- Display: 7" HD touchscreen module
- Snare: 10" dual-zone mesh pad
- Toms: 2 × 8" dual-zone mesh pads, 1 × 10" dual-zone mesh pad
- Hi-Hat: 12" dual-zone cymbal with hi-hat pedal
- Crash Cymbal: 12" dual-zone, chokeable
- Ride Cymbal: 12" dual-zone, chokeable
- Kick Pad: 5" single-zone (supports single and double kick pedals)
- Sounds: 950 studio-grade samples, spanning acoustic, electronic, world, and experimental tones
- Kits: 25 preset kits + 5 user-programmable kit slots
- Built-in Songs: 15
- Connectivity: Bluetooth, USB-MIDI, stereo line outputs (L/Mono & R), 3.5mm headphone output
- Hardware: AnchorLock™ rack system with anti-rotation pad mounts and indexed cymbal locking
- Included: Drum module, drum rack, drum key, hi-hat pedal, and the complete pad and cymbal set
The touchscreen module is the heart of the experience. Strike a pad and it automatically pulls up that pad's sound on screen, ready for you to tweak sample choice, sensitivity, pitch, volume, EQ, and panning on the fly. Build a sound you like and save it as one of five user kits for instant recall later.
For quiet practice, just plug headphones into the dedicated output — it automatically mutes the main line outputs, so there's no extra setup or routing to think about.
Best for: beginners and intermediate drummers, home practice, and anyone who wants a complete, stable kit without a steep learning curve.

TOUCHBEAT+: More Room to Play
The TOUCHBEAT+ Electronic Drum Kit takes the same core experience and expands it — more toms, more cymbals, a bigger ride, and a larger kick pad, giving more advanced players the extra real estate they need for fills and dynamic playing.

- Snare: 10" dual-zone mesh pad
- Toms: 2 × 8" dual-zone mesh pads, 2 × 10" dual-zone mesh pads
- Hi-Hat: 12" dual-zone cymbal with hi-hat pedal and adjustable calibration

- Backing Tracks: 15 built-in songs
- Connectivity: Bluetooth audio, USB-MIDI, stereo line outputs (L/Mono & R), 3.5mm headphone output, DC power input
- Hardware: AnchorLock™ Hardware System — keyed rack joints, anti-rotation pad locators, rack height rulers, and indexed cymbal locking
- Dimensions: 1450–1750mm (W) × 970–1220mm (H) × 750–900mm (D)
- Recommended Floor Space: 2000 × 1000mm
- Included: Drum module, drum rack, 10" mesh snare, 2 × 8" mesh toms, 2 × 10" mesh toms, 12" hi-hat cymbal, hi-hat pedal, 2 × 12" crash cymbals, 14" ride cymbal, 8" kick pad, drum key, mounting hardware, and power supply
Everything that makes the standard TOUCHBEAT easy to live with — the touchscreen editing, the hit-to-edit workflow, the AnchorLock hardware — carries over here. The difference is scale: a second crash gives you more tonal options on either side of the kit, the bigger triple-zone ride opens up bell, bow, and edge articulation, and the extra tom means more space to build out fills.
Best for: intermediate to advanced drummers who want a fuller kit layout for recording, rehearsals, or live performance.

Both kits share the same brain — the touchscreen module, sample library, and editing tools are identical — so the real decision comes down to how much kit you want around you, and how much floor space you've got to work with.
Why We're Excited About TOUCHBEAT
A lot of budget-to-mid-range electronic kits force a trade-off: either the pads feel great but the module is a menu-diving nightmare, or the module is friendly but the hardware wobbles the moment you dig in. TOUCHBEAT's whole design philosophy — touchscreen-first control, hit-to-edit sound shaping, and a rack system engineered specifically to stop rotation and cable twist — is aimed squarely at removing both of those headaches at once.
Both kits are coming soon to Musical Buddies, fully authorized and backed by our official warranty and local support across Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan.
