How it all began...

Eugen Beyer was fascinated by the moving images of the emerging cinema and wanted to bring these images to life with sound. He dedicated himself to the development and production of cinema loudspeakers and founded the company "Elektrotechnische Fabrik Eugen Beyer" in 1924. This laid the foundation for today's Beyerdynamic GmbH & Co. KG.
