It supports up to 256-note polyphony, letting you play complex passages without note dropouts. 

Effects and ambiance controls such as four hall simulators, eight reverb types, surround, chorus, and brilliance adjustment let you shape your sound to suit different environments. Realistic characteristics like string resonance, damper resonance, key-off simulation, and mechanical sounds add nuance and depth to your performance.

The AP-S450BN also includes features designed for musicians and learners: a Visual Information Bar that displays metronome, key/pedal dynamics, and other performance data, illuminated touch-sensor controls that fade out while you play, and modes like layer, split, and duet. It comes with Instant RePlayer continuous recording, USB/MIDI recording and playback, and a 60-song internal music library, all manageable via the Casio Music Space app.
